(03-28-2015) Let's Race!

Saturday we had a bit of racing fun in the shop with Jonathan, Pamela, Austin and Nicholas.  It's taking a bit to get all of the machines working correctly, and there are still a few bugs to fix, but we all had a good time racing each other.

Meanwhile, in the rest of the shop Flash and I installed brakes on his Beetle.  We ran into a problem where the discs were a bit too rough, and had to buy new rotors and pads - but that will hopefully get ol' Blue back on the road again.

(03-09-2015) Blondie needed more attention...

A few days ago Blondie sprung a leak when I shut off the engine.  She leaked so much coolant that I was afraid to drive her.  Thankfully Jeremy came to my rescue with water so I could get her back to work and figure out the problem - a split along the casting lines of a Y pipe going to the coolant reservoir.

Long story short, the new Y pipe arrived yesterday (03-09-15) and now Blondie doesn't leak when I turn off the engine. 

The past week she's also had a new coil pack, a new battery and a new set of tires - but hopefully she'll be back on the road without issues for a while after this.
